How do I schedule an appointment?
Through our online scheduling system—available 24/7. Please briefly describe the reason for your visit so we can prepare accordingly.
What if I have acute symptoms?
Even if you have acute symptoms, please book through our online scheduling system. Same-day appointments are typically made available 48 hours in advance. So check back regularly—or use the arzt-direkt app, through which you can also contact us directly.
How do I cancel an appointment?
Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance—via the link in your email appointment confirmation, through our online scheduling system, or via the arzt-direkt app. We do not charge a cancellation fee and trust that you’ll make the appointment available to other women if you no longer need it. This only works if we all work together.
At what age does it make sense to attend the girls’ clinic?
Starting around age 12—or whenever questions arise. During the first visit, there will be no physical exam unless you request one. We promise. You’re welcome to bring someone along. And feel free to bring your HPV vaccination record.
Can I also bring my son for the HPV vaccine?
Of course. The HPV vaccine protects everyone—and should be administered twice for girls and boys starting at age 9. We’re happy to administer it.
What are bioidentical hormones?
Bioidentical hormones have the same structure as the body’s own hormones. They are individually tailored in dosage and are often very well tolerated, especially during menopause. We have many years of experience using them—as a cream, capsule, or transdermal application.
How does the copper IUD work?
The GyneFix copper IUD is a hormone-free, long-acting contraceptive—anchored directly in the uterus, suitable for young women, and effective as emergency contraception. We have extensive experience inserting it, even in nulliparous women.
What options do I have in the event of an unintended pregnancy?
We offer medical abortion up through the end of the 9th week of pregnancy—confidentially and without judgment. You’ll need a counseling certificate in advance (e.g., from Pro Familia, Caritas, or Diakonie) as well as a complete blood count with coagulation testing. Please request an appointment via email or through our contact form.

Is there an app that lets me get in touch with the practice more quickly?
Yes—the arzt-direkt app, available for free on iOS and Android. With it, you can receive test results, send messages, request prescriptions, and manage appointments—securely, in compliance with data protection regulations, and right on your phone. You can download the app in advance. To use it securely, you’ll need to pair it with our practice once—this is easy to do during your next appointment or whenever you’re in the area. No extra appointment is needed.
